So, I know that 12:39a is not a crazy late evening and most nights in college this would still be considered an early night. Since my Valdosta days I have adjusted to more of a military schedule. Today though I decided to take a nap, now I am unable to even sit still on the couch. I am watching murder mystery shows and Rusty has been sleeping by my side for a good two hours now. He is really sweet, he doesn't want to go up to bed with out me. The challenge will be getting him off the couch when I am ready for bed.

Today wasn't the greatest day. I worked at EA, that was actually the highlight of my day. It was a short 2hr day so I was able to rush home to be with Rusty. We went to the farmers market downtown. This was something I have wanted to do for a few months now, and we finally had the chance. Unfortunately, when we got there it was just not a good experience. Rusty has the biggest test of his navy career (thus far) on Tuesday, he has to deal with other things on base, and he was really stressed and mentally preoccupied. So he was not enjoying himself, and he was pretty miserable to be around. I would have had more fun alone. We left with only two things of blueberries and ginger tea. I should have seen his bad mood coming, but it still really sucked. It was one of those days where it was easier to just not talk and then move on after a few hours of silence. Now we are good like nothing ever happened. The thing that still irks me is he was so stressed.... but he never went in to study or to do any of the other things occupying his mind.

Whatever... one week from now we will be on vacation and this weekend won't even matter.

Eh, I was gonna update about the rest of my life. But I think I just wanted to get that off my chest. That, and I took two tylenol pm tablets so the hour is starting to sink in.
Day 11 - A picture of something you hate

I really hate all of the drama associated with being a navy wife. I feel like it has just gotten increasingly bad recently. Everything I say and/or post I feel like has to be watered down and censored. I hate not being able to be myself around here. While someone can easily say "just leave the FB groups" I like to be ABLE to continue to meet people. Also, people post a lot of questions that I may have myself down the road.

I was involved with some "private" drama a little over a month ago. I learned that even though people say they want feedback and input, they really only want to hear the positives. I gave my opinion and ended up getting hurt because of it. This person said some pretty mean things about me, when my contact with her was not malicious.  Now I feel like I am walking on eggshells with every post I make on FB. I hate that it all happened. People that I have never even met don't like me, because of things that were said behind my back. I try not to let it get to me too much, because I know my intent wasn't to cause drama or upset anyone, but it does hurt.

I started keeping to myself more after that drama and I am just now opening up again. I am thankful that I am not a wife that sits around all day on FB, I actually have a job! I think the only excuse not to have a job that these girls have are the ones pregnant or already have children. Other than those two categories, these girls need to get off their butts and get a job! Yeah, you will have to work sometimes when your hubby is home. That completely sucks, but really it is worth it. I feel like a MUCH better person now that I have a job. My marriage is also much better because of it.

I Quit The Farm

I feel like blogging right now. I am sick, so I haven't been able to fall back to sleep since Rusty left for school.

I have decided I want to spend less time on facebook. There is way too much drama going on here in SC and I am going to do my best to stay out of it. I don't want enemies. I don't want conflict. One reason that I routinely check facebook is for Farmville.

I love farmville. Not sure why, but I am hooked on it. I am a pretty good farmer too. I keep track of updates and my crops rarely wither. I started playing in like October of 2009. Then around this time last year I quit. There were too many new updates and I didn't like them.

Well... in December I picked it up again. When I moved to SC I got Rusty to play with me and now he is hooked.

I tried my best not to completely annoy my friends and I would delete posts from my wall after I knew the object had expired or if it had been claimed. I am confident that I have been "hidden" on multiple FB friend's pages. Sorry yall.

I have gotten kinda bored with Farmville and even though they are about to release another expansion I just don't enjoy it any more. It makes me late, it takes priority over way too much. Just not a healthy activity anymore.

It will be weird that Rusty still plays. But I feel like such a hypocrite when I get annoyed at Rusty for playing farmville when we need to go out, go to bed, or just get something done. He doesn't think that I am actually going to be able to quit. Whatever! :-)

We'll see if quitting farmville will actually get me to spend less time on facebook. Also, if I can resist the temptation when Rusty plays. :-)
